Fans flock to IRB Sevens in Wellington

Decorate your head – not your bum …

If you’re going to dress up, glam is the way to go!

The New Zealand leg of the IRB Sevens kicked off in Wellington today – an excuse for everyone to take to the streets in an astounding array of costumes.

It wasn’t only the fans who dressed up for the occasion, the New Zealand team joined in with boots of red, pink, green, dayglow yellow and orange – a veritable rainbow! Whatever happened to black?

I’ll set my self the challenge of finding the Gingerbread men tomorrow – they were much less intimidating than KISS.

The dude at the back was wearing 12-inch black and silver heels – I predict very very sore feet and calf muscles tomorrow. That’s if he hasn’t fallen off the platforms and broken his ankles before then …
