The past few days have been ones of howling winds and lashing rain. The skies cleared around mid-day today … so they remain. I was out and about, here is what I saw.
‘Ferns’ by sculptor Neil Dawson was installed in 1998 by the Wellington Sculpture Trust. Made from coated aluminum, it is suspended on stainless steel wire 14 metres above Civic Square. It has a diameter of 3.4 meters.
The 25-story Majestic Centre Building is in the background.
Photographed today in Civic Square, Wellington, New Zealand.
