Weekly photo challenge: Path 2

Pathway through native bush on the Tora Coastal walk

Although this 3-day walk is called the Tora Coastal Walk, it leads through native bush, over hilly pastures, and down steep cliffs as well as going along the rugged coastline. The walk traverses private farm land and as such, is run privately, taking groups of up to 14. You need to book well in advance. Catering and accommodation are all part of the package … and let me tell, you – it’s fantastic! The food is absolutely wholesome and delicious.

The Tora Coastal Walk is in the Wairarapa region, at the southern end of the North Island of New Zealand.

It is not a difficult walk – easily managed by all from 7 – 77yrs!!!

this reminds me a little of the Bruce Trail in Ontario which runs for hundreds of miles, through farmland at times, over cliffs, along river beds and is just a wonder to wander on.
    walk in beauty this day.

I suspect there a lots of similarities between parts of Canada and New Zealand. Maybe you have sheep as well! In NZ sheep outnumber people many manyfold …. hehehe
