The Cinque Terre walkway has a myriad of ancient paths – steep, flat, cobbled, and stepped – which stretch for many kilometres between five heritage-protected villages. There was a different (and stunning) view at each turn. I was delighted when we came across these colourful blooms nestled amongst the vibrant green foliage of grapevines.
I walked these paths with my daughter last year. It was an incredibly special and treasured time.
Photographed on the Cinque Terre, Italy. I can’t which village we were closest to. I think it was Corneglia.
